Hello!
My name is Yuxin Jiang. This website is run by me. I also have a website that has my name in the URL. I’m transitioning to here because my practice is changing towards being more collective and functional and I feel a solo artist name setup doesn’t suit the purpose anymore*. So I picked two names out of the many names I would be mistaken for when I introduce myself and made it kind of like a brand name.
LucySushi is what it does. The first project coming out under this name is Quirky Science Questions. It’s an educational toolkit that tries to encourage empathy and curiosity towards cultures that are different to one’s own through a way of learning that combines art and science.
Right now, I’m working on bringing it to the world and gathering feedback. Please get in touch if you have any thoughts about it. I’d love to hear them!
